Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Have! A must have; brilliant for everything. Obviously being pricey, don't use when you don't need to but for priming inside and out, or time sensitive situations, it's as good as there is.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t use on metal Despite being sold as a metal primer it does not stick and scratches off even after a month of hardening

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb product I have been using this paint at my home in France over the last ten years and I have to say I could not be more pleased with its performance. Fautless a superb product. It really exceeds my expectations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from mdf primer and sealer I've bought this product and Leyland's Primer Undercoat to use as a primer for mdf painting project. Both are good product. This one i think has more use cases, like stain killer... But for my mdf project i find Leyland's Primer far better. Drying time is about the same, but Bull's Eye is harder to sand. Leyland's Primer sands really easy and smooth. So overall it is a good product. For raw mdf I prefer other one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works... kinda... I bought a couple of tins of this and had them delivered to France where I live. My partner and I have been looking for a product which would seal heavily oiled, oak beams. Unfortunately, Screwfix does not deliver the Zinsser oil based 1-2-3 to the EU, so we had to go for the water-based product. Initially, we thought we had thrown some €80 down the drain, as once coated, the beams showed heavy brown bleed through. However, in a kinda experiment, we coated over with an oil-based satin paint and Voila! - no more bleeding! So I think using this proved successful, after a fashion. French paint is mostly rubbish and hugely, hugely expensive, so that being said, I'll buy more of this product to undercoat more of those dark beams. :)
