Yorkshire Tectite Sprint Push-Fit Pipe Elbow 10mm is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product easy and neat I used these as i didn't want to disturb nearby paintwork soldering a joint. They are really firm when fitted and aren't half as bulky as they may seem when fitted. Get it right though as theres no going back once the pipe is inserted

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quickfi and watertight fitting I've traditionally used solder joints, but bought these on a bit of a whim, as I was going to work in a newly decorated bathroom. So easy to use - minimal preparation, just push in and that's it, a water tight joint 1st time. So quick and easy, I think that the time saved justifies the cost - although they seem expensive, in practice they are not.so I will use again and again now I have discovered them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute nightmare Just installed 2 radiators in a customers house. I have done this many times before and am a tradesman. I usually solder my fittings but on the recommendation of screwfix I decided to give these copper push fits a go. It's 11pm and I've just had a call from my customer to say the elbow has failed and flooded their downstairs. As they are unremovable - there was nothing I could do when I got there except drain their entire central heating system and leave them in the cold until the morning when I can fix it properly. 25 year guarantee apparently - let's hope that puts it right when things go wrong. Loss of earnings Loss of reputation Damage to customers house Additional work putting things right in the morning. Additional expense. Do yourselves a favour and use propper fittings. These are junk!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Go compression Bought about 20 various fittings to move to radiators to different positions. Used a proper pipe cutter and sanded the end of the pipes to be on the safe side. Made sure they were properly pushed together. One failed on system fill. One failed on second system fill and one failed after system was up and running for an hour. Luckily not too much damage, just happened to check boiler and noticed pressure had dropped to nearly zero causing me to run round house. That's nearly a one in seven fail rate. I changed them all to compression fittings, a bit slower and more fiddly but safe as houses if you can't solder. I'll never buy these again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive but Worth It Very easy to use, and work perfectly. Make sure you clean the pipes well and cut them with a proper pipe-slice, and these joints are a breeze. They are less bulky than compression fittings, and so much easier and more reliable than soldering. Spend the money and save the stress. A perfect joint in seconds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very useful and not bulky Even though pricey this connector is far smaller than the plastic alternative. I have 10mm plastic buried in the walls (all feeding from the loft as we have solid floors and live in a bungalow) and 10mm copper feeding the radiators. Normally I would use 10mm solder fittings but not possible in my circumstances. Previously had to find on line supplier and pay postage, now Screwfix keep in stock so problem solved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick and easy Use these to save the fuss of having to solder elbows and so much better than compression products. They also look the part..
