Xpelair VX100T 12W Bathroom Fan is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good budget extractor Bought to replace an older version from 7 years ago. Dimensionally; It was the same as the old one with a different cover. Terminals and cable entry points are practically the same too. Would have given higher rating for reliability (based on the old one), but will wait and see on this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 1st one failed after 3 weeks Fitted fan in bathroom and it worked for 3 weeks before it stopped working. Exchanged in store without problem 2nd one now in for a few days. Fan itself is fairly quiet and operates fine. Easy to adjust timer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replacement of bathroom fans Easy to use, I was able to install 3 of them in a morning. They were quieter than the originals. The timing switch we found was 1 minute on the minimum setting. Good product value.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no recommending this I bought 2 of these. 3 points here: The timer modules on both did not work! I had them installed and the homeowner said just leave it otherwise these would have been sent back. Tricky to wire, given the wires must come from the top right then travel left. If your wiring is anywhere else then you will need to start chopping up the plastic to track the wires to the PCB. The PBC should be popped out of the plastic holder to wire up then put back in once all the wires are screwed in. In reality (other models) there should be a strip joiner away from the PBC so this messing about is not required. If the wall is not perfectly flush with the unit then the plastic clips will not hold the cover properly. There are other models where you screw the cover to the unit and are better at covering this imperfection in the tiling.. On the plus side, they do look ok, and are not too loud / not too quite. Installed only 1 week so cannot recommend for reliability.
