Wired Illuminated Bell Push White is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 43.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doorbell Push Average Quality These days you cannot replace the lamps in illuminated doorbell pushes and the only option is to replace the entire assembly which I did here. Byron products are of adequate quality but not as good as the opposition with a Danish name. Always check to ensure that the transformer has been tapped correctly as excessively high voltages adversely effect lamp life. Electricians mistakenly tap the secondary windings of the transformer at its highest setting quite needlessly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doorbell It’s a doorbell push, can’t go wrong for the money. Easy enough to fit however had to fiddle a little as my upvc door means I had to route the wiring around the door frame therefore had to cut/file a small indent for the wire and fiddle to wire the push ( it doesn’t just push the wire straight back through what would be a hole in the frame). Can’t remark on reliability it’s been there for a couple of days and been pressed once by the postman, not twice, it worked.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless Does not light even when used with Byron electronic chime units. Misleading description, do not buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but poor fixings Bought to replace a failed bell push, the illuminated type seemed better for visibility. Straightforward to fit and does the job, decent light output and works (although can't comment on long-term reliability). My only issue is the poor idea of using simple screws to terminate the wiring; there should be some washers as a minimum so the wiring is "clamped", but with this basic idea, the screws twist the wiring while being tightened (I had the wiring fail as a result of this poor fitting until I stuck some washers on myself). Minor niggle, but just too basic. Otherwise, push works and so far, does the job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Rubbish fiddly to fit and very poor, bought a more basic one which worked 10 times better, don't waste your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the price In my honest opinion this product is worth maybe 15 pence. Connections are a joke. To connect two wires you will have to wrap the end of the wire on a screw and tighten it. Very easy to snap the wire. Plastic really cheap and easily breakable. Not weather resistant. Not worth a hassle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Great Just had to stop trying to fit this bell push as broke off one of the plastic lugs in one of the parts. I will try the version without the light as this should be less potchy, although I fear it will be made of the same brittle plastic. My previous door bell runs from a bell with a mains transformer. Also note that the wiring to my chimes looks like standard lighting circuit wire - the screws in this bell push to secure the wire are very small making it difficult to attach wires of this thickness.
