TurboUltra Woodscrews Double Self Countersunk 3.5 x 40mm 200 Pack is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 141.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Little Screw Did a great job. Great quality and performance, and I expect the Stainless Steel will enable them to be very durable for outside applications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Any turbo ultra screw For me these screws are one of the best.. Driveing 6 X 150MM with pre-drilled holes 18v drill. I use them for attic conversions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless screws Bought these for use in a wetroom which has cost a fortune. First thing I try to put up had 6 screws to hold it. 4 out of 5 screws snapped as they were driven in with a low powered driver with a run down battery, so not tight. Left me with a situation I am not sure how to solve, but is going to cost me considerable time and money. These are not fit for purpose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good screws Good quality screw, a bit expensive but they do the job, and don't break so i'm happy with them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality screws These screws are great for outside use but need a pilot hole and I find best to use impact driver as the heads can shear easily specially f they hit a knot or used on hardwood

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE BEST SCREWS EVER Bought some of these screws last year for an outside project and again this time for another outside project, Doubt ill ever use any other screws again. I mean what do you expect from a shop with the word SCREW in it, simply the BEST.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the job All in all a great value screw that wont rust, makes it great for exterior application, as long as you use the correct fitting bit to match the head you wont mangle the head of the screw, self countersinking and easy start with very little splitting without piloting

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used to be good, now poorer Screwfix's Turbo Ultra A2 stainless screws used to be amongst the best and great value for money. I've used them extensively for many years on all sorts of construction projects. Sadly the most recent batch of SKU 10078 3.5x40mm supplied in June 2015 are made from a new alloy. Through extensive testing and wastage of approximately 1/2 of each box I have concluded that the new alloy is a mixture of tin foil and cheese. Care must be taken with all stainless screws when driving them to avoid cam out which damages them easily but these new improved versions are ridiculous. You can snap them in your fingers (wear gloves as they are sharp). I bought some other sizes at the same time which were fortunately still made from actual metal, but the SKU mentioned above were all beyond useless. You can tell the new alloy easily if you have two batches to compare as they are significantly lighter than the older ones and are of a dull finish. Visually and to the touch they resemble aluminium screws but they box still states A2 stainless steel. As they are not cheap, if you find yourself with a box that matches that then do yourself a favour and take them back for a refund before wasting your time and then having to do the same anyway.
