Trend Universal Sub-Base is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to your router Great addition to any router and very easy to use. Usual high quality for trend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Luckier than some First the good news, the brass inserts are OK so far, but as others have mentioned, there a whole catalogue of injection moulding faults, sink holes, flow lines & weld lines, appalling quality. It fiitted the lovely Hitachi M12 V that I have borrowed, so for the one project it will suffice, after flattening! Anyone looking for a keeper would best go elsewhere.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Trend NOT Universal Sub-Base I purchased this sub-base for use with the Titan TTB 591 1/2" router. Unfortunately I cannot seem to line up any of the holes in the sub-base with the router base which means that I am reduced to using the sub-base with my Bosch router which is 1/4". The sub-base was to be used to align the router guides of my Proctor Cable dovetail jig which, being an American design does not appear to fit UK standard. All in all I am quite disappointed that I cannot use the sub-base to the fullest extent, however I do appreciate the fact that alignment of the unit is easily achieved by use of the pegs supplied. Other reviewers have stated that they returned the sub-base as it was bowed, I have to say that mine was perfectly flat and 'fit for purpose'.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It DOES fit the Bosch TE600 I bought this so I could try a better range of guide bushes on my Bosch GKF600 ¼" Palm Router fitted with the BTE 600 Plunge Base. Everyone says it won't fit (including Trend and Bosch) but I've got mine fitted fine. It uses 2 of the 12mm long screws which I've tightened with removable thread locking compound. I used the plastic guide peg supplied, then just rotated the sub-base until at least 2 holes lined up. It takes all the Trend bushes and has made my router (already fitted with the Bosch Professional TE 600 Plunge Base) much more usable. Others have said theirs were bent, but mine arrived totally flat. I'll just say that I'm 100% happy with the safety of mine, but always ensure you check for yourself and don't always follow the advice of some lunatic that you read on the internet :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What are Trend playing at? I purchased this to use with my Trend router on a Trend dovetail jig. It's pretty shocking. If you can find an alternative that isn't this sub-base then buy it. The base needs flattening before use- this can be done with a large flat file. The alignment template and pins are made from plastic. What the?! plastic?! Plastic moves. The alignment template and pins are useless. I ended up eye-balling the router cutter to the centre which is far more accurate that the template provided. Once you get past the initial setting up, don't expect this sub-base to last long. The plastic they used is cheap, vacuum formed rubbish. If the'd used a material like Tufnol, i probably wouldn't be writing this. Like i said at the start, if you can find an equivalent sub-base which isn't trend, buy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Universal router base Good value for money router base, cheapest I could find from Screwfix. I was struggling to find a suitable replacement base for my old trusty freud router. The many screw holes in the base meant I could get a accurate fit and when used with the router bush - sold separately can be used for accurate cutting with a jig or guide rail of kitchen worktops

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Router base plate Fitted easily and worked great with the guide and the jig

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish I'd read the reviews In theory this is a great idea, in practice it's badly executed. Like most reviewers I am unable to tighten the guide bush into the base or remove it as the captive (!!!!!!!!) nuts are anything but. I now have a useless piece of expensive plastic and a guide bush I will have to drill out to be able to use. If I could give zero stars it would be too many.
