Titan TTB290SDR 3" Belt Sander 230V is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 197.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Diyer Just bought and used once to sand a number of skirting boards. Only given a 4 for performance and reliability as not used enough. Good value for money and did a great job. Base plate heats up after prolonged use so keep an eye on this and let it cool down. Seems a great product as is all Titan gear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sander for the price For the price of this belt sander you really cannot complain about its build quality or performance, great for general DIY, after sanding a rather large bathroom floor to repair cupping of the floor boards it made a days job in to an hours job. i usually only go for highly branded power tools but as i cant see it getting much use after the bathroom i did not want to spend a fortune, and i'm glad i never as this was more than capable of anything i could through at it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good One important recommendation though if you're going to sand a fair bit of wood (typically a wooden floor): Make sure you buy a few half decent zirconia belts online, and a latex pad to clean them. Lots of power going through a comparatively small belt, let it cool from time to time. (I speed it up by putting it on a cold frying pan)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little machine I'm a professional carpenter, and after I lost my tools (Stolen) I had to replace them all, and as I don't use the belt sander as often as the other power tools I chose this as it was cheap and in budget at the time. But it has turned out to be a great little machine a bit noisy but more than capable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Absolutely Absolutely good value, absolutely does the job and absolutely doesn't collect the dust. the bag is only has a bag. It may be just my machine can anyone tell is it faulty?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bags of Power Used this to sand thick varnish off a bathroom floor, lesser sanders struggle but not this, going through the grades is quick and easy. It has a detachable dust-bag but I hooked the outlet to a heavy duty vacuum cleaner which works well with little escape from the sander. All that power has to go somewhere and the sole plate and sanding belt can get very hot and melt the joint in the sanding belt. Give the plate plenty of time to cool between bouts of sanding. Check belt alignment every minute or so, it can wander as the belt stretches but the adjuster works well to get back on track. It's noisy, use good ears defenders. Overall highly recommended, makes short work of demanding tasks and is great value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value!! Was my first belt sander so didnt really know what to expect but was really suprised at how powerful it was. Made real light work of removing layers of paint. For the cost, you really can't go wrong. Only had it a few days so only time will tell how long it will last but first impressions is that it's tough and will last. Great price on screwfix aswell!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid little belt sander Bought this instead of hiring a sander to do my living room floor. It has done the job fantastically went over the floor three time with a course medium and fine paper then tried to do my hall way, I pushed it to far and the drive belt melted but a replacement is cheap, and easily replaced, great little buy highly recommend
