Teng Tools Drive Torque Wrench ¼" is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Spent a little more, and had to wait until the next day, for the Teng Torque wrench. Having purchased the cheap 1/2" wrench which I was not impressed with I wanted to replace it. First time around I didn't really think about it and I find the 1/2" pretty much useless in most situations it is just too big and the "click" is very difficult to hear. I ended up over tightening my oil filter which thankfully didn't crack because its a nightmare to change the housing. I got the 1/4" and 3/8" Teng Wrenches as a replacement and to allow me to do some engine bolts that needed 9nm and 4nm (well 5nm had to do there). It has a satisfying and loud click and as others have said you would have to be deaf and have no feeling in your hands to miss it. Very obvious and I am far more confident of getting it right every time. They are essentially replicas of each other differing only in size - they even have identical cases. They aren't too bulky and quite slim so can get into engine bays and the 1/4" covering up to 25nm means you can do most things with that. They do have a substantial feel to them and while I have only abused them for a few days they feel like they will last a long time. Red paint is easy to scratch off in use but that is my only complaint - it does look good in red. Bit more expensive but very nice for DIY or light use - unless you want to spend 2-3 times more for a professional wrench.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for car and bikes I needed a low torque on my motorcycle, my other torque wrench starts way above the maximum on this one so would have been no good. This is a nice heavy weight so you can feel the quality. And with Teng tools you really can't go wrong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Early days For years i've managed those tight-spot, low-torques on my motorbikes with a 3/8" torque-wrench (move stuff out the way, lower engines or use a crows-foot) but finally got round to buying this. it seems a well built wrench, nice and solid and the head is pleasingly small. First use and one of the 10 bolts still couldn't be accessed (had to move starter-motor) but it worked a treat with a lovely action so all but the most Neanderthal wouldn't over-tighten. Needs care not to set Foot-Pounds instead of Newton-Metres but so far i think i'm going to be very happy with this Teng. The angular guage will prove useful too on Triumphs etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mighty little Torque Wrench Have only had chance to use it once but was impressed with it's ease of use and it's lightness. Well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2nd Teng Bought this 1/4" to fill the lower torque ranges which my other Teng 1/2" misses. Was and still am very happy with my first Teng torque wrench so there was no hesitation when thinking about which 1/4" to buy.
