Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spiral wrap Needed to use this because of restricted access to pipework and couldn’t fit the usual foam insulation and it worked a treat. Not sure if it’ll be as efficient as the foam but at least it gave me an option to add insulation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK, but not overly impressed. Did read reviews so had a rough idea what to expect. I suppose there will be circumstances where it would work better than it did for me but I didn't find it that great myself. The need to keep dragging the full length round the pipe was s nuisance - and it kept twisting as you went despite efforts to keep it flat. It doesn't like going round tightish bends and had to secure it with duct tape to stop it slipping back over itself - it seems a bit too inflexible when compared to ordinary felt pipe lagging. You invariably think it will go further than it actually does and have to go and buy more. I wish I'd been able to get wrap round felt... but couldn't get it locally, hence going for this stuff. Wouldn't rush to use it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very effective Good stuff. I used this to add further insulation to the pipework bringing warm water in from our air source heat pump. I've used an IR surface thermometer to check how well it worked: wall adjacent to pipes (14C), existing insulation around hot feed (17.5C). After adding the wrap the enmities temp from the hot line dropped to 15C. I'd also suggest lots of aluminium tape over all the seams - I'm hoping that will minimise air and water ingress. By the time I add some cosmetic cladding over the pipes, I'm hoping to be down to minimal losses.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works for small lengths Used to lag push-on flexible braided pipe connectors to a water softener which suffered badly from condensation. Regular pipe insulation could not be used as the connectors curved. The product lagged the connectors very neatly but needed two wraps to get the necessary level of insulation. This lagging is not thermally efficient but provided a good solution in my case. The pipes are still cool to the touch, but the condensation problem was solved.
