Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sorted my door problem Needed to convert a number of doors from handles to door knobs. Due to the extra clearance required from the door frame to operate the door knob I fitted these longer catches and made good the door with filler. Cost effective solution and saved having to change what was good doors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Few problems This latch is a pain. The brass/chrome cover is not big enough to conceal the end of the latch once it’s mortised in. It’s very stiff. It only turns one way, which annoys users. The stated hole cutter size for the latch is too small to accommodate a protrusion on the side of the latch. This means you have to fettle away at the hole you have just drilled like an idiot. Wasting time. Not a nice outcome and will be avoiding this one in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made but a little stiff Difficult to use with door knobs as action on latch very stiff. But as I fit a lot of various make latches this one is a better quality latch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality I had been looking everywhere for a better quality tubular latch. Even in locksmiths I could only find cheap ones. This feels much more substantial and still a good price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A bit stiff Nice and solid, also the extra length is essential if you're using door knobs as the smaller sizes make it too close to the door jamb and you scrape your knuckles. The only problem is it's pretty stiff which means the kids struggle to turn the knob. Hopefully it'll loosen up over time...
