SLX Satellite Finder Meter is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 70.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it weight and more This handy little tool saved me £80. You do have to have a feeder cable which is a female to female connection to plug into a standard satalite. Easy to follow instructions, very clear audible tone and easy to read screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential for finding a signal Allowed me to position my sky dish at my new home to get a great signal within minutes. Be aware that you need to make up your own jumper cable as it does not come supplied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant timesaver Wasted enough time guessing, this gadget pinpoints the satellite very quickly. if you have a system on your caravan or motorhome then it's essential unless you enjoy looking foolish in front of people... It would have been handy if there were f connectors in the box to make a jumper lead but no ..so be prepared to rummage for some or buy some at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple to use Bought a holiday home in Scotland and inherited an old satellite dish. Got a freesat box but could not get quite a few channels either because there was no signal or the signal was too weak. Bought satellite finder from Screwfix but not being an electrician or engineer (just a frustrated amateur) followed the simple instructions supplied and within minutes adjusted the satellite dish to the right position and got all channels. Brilliant little piece of equipment !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job well Used this when my satellite got blown out of alignment from high winds. Easy to use and restored my services back to their original quality avoiding a costly engineer visit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent test meter Used to double check the signal strength from dual connections on the LNB to the HD box. I was not convinced that the on-board signal test display was working correctly on the HD box, and I was right. The meter proved that the 2nd connection had a very low signal strength, and that the fault was the connection to the LNB. Eventually had to go up the ladder and onto the roof. However, if I had not used this tester, I may have diagnosed that the HD box was faulty. Really useful tool.
