Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dont use on a hot day I feel safe in these - with my new chainsaw. The size is good. Dont use on a hot day - your bits get very toasty in these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value protection These seem to be about the best value I could find. The clog protection is only on the front as these are only basic but that is fine for cutting wood in a yard. Wore them for a few hours wood cutting in the winter sun with a pair of light trousers underneath and got a bit sweaty but not too uncomfortable. I am a 36 waist and went for the size 38 as recommended in other reviews and they are just right. Might be a bit long in the leg for some. Very good value I think.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great trousers which stay up great trousers which whilst area snug fit ( too much food at Christmas) Having the braces built in is great as they are quite weighty due to the kevlar padding on the front. Help keep you warm in the winter. the rear material appears to be water proof but not breather-able so a good way to sweat of the Christmas excess. Fortunately have not tested the saw stopping function so can not comment on that safety feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Chainsaw Trousers Buy a size bigger or they will not fit. No belt loops but come with braces. The are comfortable, the back of the leg is made from some sort of plastic coated fabric which is a bit cold to begin with but did not make me sweat, wore all day. They are the thick padding type of leg protection but not too heavy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value These seem good value compared to competitors products. I've not been in the position to test the performance or reliability, and hope never to have to!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Go large! Buy at least one size larger than you think you need. They are very tight, especially if you wear a thin pair of cotton trousers or shorts underneath; the inner material is plastic and you WILL sweat buckets. Not tried out the safety aspect yet, thankfully ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chainsaw trousers Does exactly what it says, fortunately have not had to find out just how good they are, plenty of pockets, great protection against weeds and nettles as an added bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Chainsaw Trousers I bought these trousers because I had some tree felling work to do at home and wanted to invest in the correct PPE. These trousers are well made with additional layers of material for protection and braces provide for a snug fit. When buying go a size up as they are a tighter fit. I bought a 38 waist as I usually wear a 35/36 trouser. They are a perfect fit, but the legs in these trousers can be a little long for the shorter stature so be prepared to roll em up! Would recommend these trousers for anyone looking for safety and comfort while using a chainsaw.
