FloPlast Shallow Bath Trap White 40mm is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Product Purchased one of these and after fitting it seemed to leak, so my Partner tightened it and it stripped the thread. I purchased another one and said I will tightened it up and the same thing happened, This trap appears to be of poor quality, with a very cheap and nasty rubber seal. DONT BUY - I wished I had read the reviews before buying 2 of them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaked after 2 months As others have stated, the seal quality is very poor and is not robust. Spend the extra £2 and get the trade rated varied - a superior product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Product Rarely do I write reviews but felt I should warn others. In terms its shallow profile it's decent, but my main issue is the washer quality that connects to the bath. If you overturn it just slightly it leaks... if you don't turn it enough it leaks and what I've just discovered if lots of water goes through it, then it also leaks. The compression fitting on the other end which connects to the waste pipe is fine but what's the point in that if the other end leaks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not robust Seemed fine when I first fitted it, but after trying to unblock the pipework with a plunger I found that it had started to leak. As other reviews have said, the thread is poor and easily jumps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, but great price The Bath trap is great quality, easy to fit and keenly priced. (quick tip remember is that bottom end cap is not supplied tight so before fitting check washer is in place and tighten otherwise when you check for leaks you make be surprised to find water leaking out of it. It appeared tight but wasn't) I should have checked this before myself! Apart from this can't fault the quality or price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shallow bath trap How cheap is this? And it woks a treat. Don't forget to tighten the cap that covers the access for easy cleaning, otherwise you'll have an unexpected leak, like I did. LOL

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Usually good Have fitted many of these over the years but fitted one last week and the cleaning point cap leaked first time even though I had tightened it to a tightness that had always been enough before. Nipped up an eighth of a turn with grips and still leaked, I ended up having to tighten it up a lot more than I was comfortable with to get it to seal even after dissasembling it and checking for defects.
