Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth their weight in gold I installed an integrated washing machine with a décor front cabinet door, I gently nipped up the location screws for the hinges with a manual screwdriver. found the level positions for the door but needed to adjust the door from side to side. Tried undoing the screws, the heads were so soft that the slots for screws just rounded out, couldn`t get any grip on them with pliers or cut a new slot with a hacksaw. I already have a set of `easyouts` these proved ineffective also as the metal was far too soft. A quick trip to Screwfix, a simple inexpensive purchase and five minutes back on site the jobs was successfully completed first time with ease. . Advice:- drill a deep enough pilot hole for the correct size extractor and exert a little pressure, use a drill on low speed and take your time ....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wanted a handle! So they grip well into the old screw head, however you then need to hold pliers tightly and twist or some other such tool in order to get them to turn. It would be pretty easy to sell them with a custom made bar that fit all the head sizes so you had some leverage to turn these. Very hard work removing the screws.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work for me Had a stripped screw on a euro cylinder that I wanted to change. I tried for a long time but I have to say it was beyond me to get these to work, even with the tricks mentioned by other reviewers. I eventually got it out by cutting two notches either side and using a flat-head screwdriver.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not do the job Got these as they were cheap to drill out some rounded screws on my motorcycle. After drilling very generous pilot holes and about a hour using these, the screws where still in the bike. I later returned these to screw fix and got the more expensive grabit ones instead. I wish i just put my hand in my pocket earlier as the grabits got both screws out in about 1 minute.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was wrong about these. So, these nearly went in the bin. I had read the reviews prior to purchase so decided to buy these as opposed to the much more expensive set. I had a screw that failed which was holding a Eurolock on my back door. So I approached this job with quiet confidence and ended up very annoyed. So decided I would take these back and purchase said expensive alternative. Once I had cooled down I gave the situation a bit of thought. My mistake was not making a big enough pilot hole, therefore the extraction bit was not getting any purchase. So I spent a bit more time drilling out the centre of the screw, picked the bit that was just slightly larger than the hole and out the screw came. I was very pleased. So if you're having a problem, don't give up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for the price You get what you pay for. Decent price for what they are but difficult to use properly.
