Pegler Ball Valve Red 22mm is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality valve I always use Pegler valves, great quality, they give full bore flow, positive cut-off and are only slightly more expensive than the generic equivalent. The mystery continues as to why the handle colour determines the price difference (the blue one is a £1 more than the red one) on otherwise identical products!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not up to Pegler Standard Although the ball valve bit was fine its not much good if you cant attach it to the pipe. Threads were really poorly made and only managed to get 1 valve done up with loads of jointing compound on the thread. 2nd one no chance, the threads were so out of round couldn't get the nuts on. Had to down tools to get a replacement, which was almost as bad although this time the olives were so badly made and thin wouldn't seal against the pipe. Replaced with some well made brass ones and seemed to work. The rubbish Screwfix copper pipe also comes in for criticism, notice lately with both 15mm and 22mm pipe there is a heavy draw mark indentation along the lengths of pipe. Screwfix should start applying some quality control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best full bore ball valves ... ... I have ever used. You get what you pay for and peace of mind knowing they will last longer than other makes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pegler 22mm Full flow Pegler full bore 22mm valve, slightly more expensive than other supposedly similar products but come back in three or five years time and any savings will be wiped out having to fit another cheap valve. Do it right first time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well engineered - full bore Great quality valve which is easy to install - I used on plastic pipes - worked first time with no leaks - worth paying a little extra for the quality. Lever is a little stiff to operate at first but then loosens slightly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pegler lever valve Great lever valve would not use the cheaper alternatives long lasting pay for wot you get.......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QUALITY LEVER VALVE I purchased 3 of these to replace stopcocks. So much better! Very smooth in action. My only gripe is that I would have preferred to have blue lever valves. The blue valve is more expensive though in fact exactly the same valve as the red lever. In 15mm the red and blue valve lever are same price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Valve Needed to change a cheaper valve that was weeping from the spindle. Dripped onto the ceiling below causing a damp patch and I now have to re-decorate. So, it pays to go for quality and this is the bees knees - smooth action, full bore and well engineered. Screwfix could be a bit more informative on the meaning of the red, blue and yellow handles. Had to go to the Pegler website to be sure of the right one for hot water.
