Masonry Mount Black 9mm Pack of 100 is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but could be better. I use a 10mm SDS bit to drill the hole and have never had a problem with them being loose, the opposite in fact, I have broken a fair few knocking them in to hard masonry, the solution I have come up with is to slide a couple of cable ties through before knocking them in. A slightly more resilient plastic like nylon or a blend would help, or some way to transfer the force when knocking in from the top to the shaft as this is where all my breakage has happened.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best thing since cable ties Excellent bit of kit!! Needed to run 30M of corrugated conduit in a hurry for lighting for a Festival. Spotted these and could see the advantage straight away, no fiddling with screws and saddles, one quick 9mm hole, tap the fixing in and fasten with a cable tie!! Easy to remove after the event and the fixings in place for next year. What a time saver. HSE satisfied and loads of time saved. That's my first use, and I can see them being a permanent part of my kit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs a 9mm Maronry Drill! This product could be really good, but you try to find a 9mm sds masonry drill. 8mm is too small and you risk the heads snapping off when you hammer them in. 10mm is too big and they fall out. I used an 8mm sds drill and 'waggled it about' to make the hole bigger. Not very accurate, but did the job. So, Screwfix please redesign with either an 8 or 10mm drill in mind!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 9mm drill required. Like other reviewers, I found these very handy and time saving, but beware. A 9mm drill is the optimum size for holes into masonry. Screwfix do not stock a 9mm SDS drill. I used a SDS 8mm, then opened out with a 9.5mm that I could use in the battery drill. Fixings seem to be solid and are virtually impossible to pull out. Although I did not use all mounts that I bought, I will keep these handy as they can be used with in masonry with cable ties for a wide variety of jobs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for fixing cable runs Used loads of these in brick, cinder and concrete blocks. Agree with other reviewers that drilled hole size needs to be accurate and at 8mm in hard brick or concrete they can be a little tight, careful use of hammer usually gets them in. Only broke heads off a few in several hundreds used, molding design could be improved if the stem between vanes and head was strengthened by lengthwise buttresses to give a '+' cross section. Otherwise a great product for well supported tidy cable runs especially when used for heavier 6mm and 10mm T&E cables.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They seem to work I've only used a few of these so far but they seem to be working. An 8mm drill gives a hole that is slightly too tight. Tapping the plugs in with a hammer breaks off some of the ribs, but enough are left to hold the plugs tight. I had to remove one and I couldn't shift it, so I had to drill it out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job Be good if you stocked a smaller size as well, and stated the drill bit size, as 9mm is the one size that you cannot buy an SDS drill and the 8mm is too tight and 10mm seems to be a little loose? Maybe it was the material I was drilling into?!
