Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little router Just added this to my router family. I have a lot of routers but needed something that was easier to control. This is ideal, can be used one handed but still packs enough power for reasonable material removal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made, sturdy tool This is a really sturdy tool, it feels well made and heavier than I was expecting. The cord is long, which is a must on all power tools. Changing the bits can be a little awkward, but being able to turn upside down without the cord getting in the way is well thought out. I've been using a larger plunge router for a number of years, but needed to do some more intricate work on a fireplace surround, and this is perfect. It is very quiet, and the soft-start means the tool doesn't jump when you switch it on. It also has the benefit of variable speed. The micro-control depth setting is good, but you need to set it on it's side as when you open the locking collar, as the router body will move too quickly. The unit is pretty pricey but you get what you pay for. A well made tool by a reputable company. You don't get a case which is disappointing, but don't let that put you off, this is a good solid tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Machine Have only given very good on star ratings as just purchased but the initial usage of this hand held router are excellent. The build quality is very good, seems solid and well made, with the variable speed being probably the best feature. The only negative is there is no case or bag to keep everything together, will have to buy something, but I still chose this machine over the Bosch which actually comes in a case. Another easy purchase from screwfix, ordered and collected with no fuss! Would recommend ***
