Makita GA9050/2 2000W 9" Angle Grinder 240V is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Product Had a 4.5 inch grinder for years but with a lot of slabs and blocks to cut decided i needed a 9 inch grinder. Couldn’t see much difference between this and the other ones listed but decided to spend the extra £20 to go for the Marita Blue range. A bit of a kick on start up and the switch takes a little getting used to but prevents any accidental starts. Good length lead, but could do with a box especially if you are chucking in the back of a van.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful Reasonable Priced Kit Been using professional heavy duty angle grinders for 45 years. This machine for DIY / light industrial work is excellent. First noticeable difference with the cheap machines is it's light weight at 4.7kg important when using in awkward positions, also gear box is noticeably smooth. No soft start no problem! If you're switching on any machine you should have a good grip. Been cutting out mortar between bricks plenty of power. Good positive easy to operate switch. A box for storage would have been handy but a machine well worth the small extra cost

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MAKITA 9" GRINDER / CUTTER VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE ITS ALREADY CARRIED OUT SOME CHANELLING INTO WALLS AND CUT VARIOUS AMOUNTS OF CONCRETE BLOCKS WITH OUT FAIL . ONLY THING I COULD ADD IS IF ONLY IT CAME WITH ITS OWN CASE . BUT APART FROM THAT ITS BEEN GREAT ....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 9” grinder This is my second one of these, I left the other at a job so I bought the erbauer set of 2 which was a mistake, took them back to get the Makita, this Makita grinder delivers a good balanced power against weight and I have yet to destroy either after years with the first one and cutting blocks, slabs etc. The wrench is solid as standard, all round good but no carry case anymore

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tradesman Nice grinder, well balanced and comfortable to use. Can perform quite intracate cuts. Maybe a little light for some work. The disc changing spanner is a little flimsy but still works. Is it as good as my Dewalt grinder? nearly. The Dewalt has more weight to it so deals with heavier work more efficiently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Angle Grinder This is a brilliant product - very powerful and cuts through stone like a knife through butter, especially with a diamond disc. Seems very solid and I expect it to last a lifetime! Highly recommended.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Makita Angel Grinder Brought to make some cuts through concrete. Couldn't fault its power or the cut. But the safety button on trigger is not comfortable for long periods of cutting. This is the only thing that lets it down. And if had used before, would've put me off purchasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top quality from Makita Have a range of makita tools and they are of top quality. The quality of this angle grinder was great - as is to be expected from makita. Purchased this along with a marcrist diamond blade to cut paving slabs when laying a patio area. Made the job easy whether a straight line cut or an intricate cut. Highly recommended.
