Victorian Mortice Knobs Pair Satin Nickel Effect 51mm is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor handle, had to return Poor finish with blemishes, plus the inside of the handle had rusted. Returned and purchased 8191H instead, which is of a better quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy Door Knob This knob is the same as the one sold in the "Value" range at another well known DIY store, but only cheaper with different screws. I tend to use door knobs because I have a habit of walking into things, and knobs hurt a lot less than handles! Having walked into these knobs previously, they can clearly take a lot of bashing. Nice solid knob made of thick steel. I agree with the comments regarding the positioning of the knob versus the ability to put in the screws. You need to have an angled screwdriver to be able to put the screws in straight. The screws themselves aren't brilliant...unlike the other DIY store's version, whilst these do the job, the other company's knobs come with a slightly domed flathead screw (not cross or pozi - if I haven't explained it well enough, please see the screw style of the ones pictured with the Carlisle brass rimmed mortice knob) which means that theirs looks aesthetically much better. I'll be changing these screws once I have the chance. Having said this, all in all, it still does the job at a very good price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor finish Nice door knobs but satin effect coming off to reveal nickel underneath

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good but... The knobs are solidly made however this does not apply to the screws supplied. Had all of the problems with installation as the other reviewers but mine were so stiff that it actually makes them really hard to turn. Wd40 didn't do the trick unfortunately so considering taking them back

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good handles but....... Purchased these as a short term refresh for existing doors. Handles are good quality for the money but sadly the supplied screws are very poor. Poorly finished off-centre Philips heads meant a struggle to get a positive grip when tightening. Screw holes being blocked by the handle as previously mentioned by another reviewer does not help. Not able to comment on reliability as only just fitted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product Nice solid knob made of thick steel. I would strongly suggest that you take a piece of 100x100mm mdf, sit the knob on top and drill all the holes in the mdf, then use that as a drill template for the doors. As one reviewer stated, the knob is in the way of the screw holes and the screws are small, so unless you happen to have a really long 3mm drill you will need the drilling template. All in all a quality product at a low price.
