Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slick design Great looking, I have this range throughout house. The face plates are easy to take off and put back on, ideal when decorating. The faces do not show finger prints as much as gloss finish fittings.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor design These look great but the fit is awful, they are so tight on even the deepest of boxes. They are a nightmare to get in flush and as they are so tight, the boxes will need to be 100% level, which existing boxes in old houses rarely are.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love/hate relationship I love these lap screwless switches and sockets. I can also get frustrated with them. They look great, but they can also be an absolute pig to fit. Plastic cavity back boxes have to be trimmed to get the back plate to sit flat to the box. The wire earth on the back of the switches needs to be bent inwards so it doesn't foul on the plastic back boxes as well. So, if you're not in a rush and you can keep your cool, these are pretty good. LAP do , I believe, need to alter the shape and way these are manufactured, especially as they aren't the cheapest. But when the job is completed and you stand back to admire your handiwork they do look pretty smart.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Look nice but badly designed Just been fitting this range for a client into brand new back boxes and newly plastered walls, the sockets/switches etc have to be screwed on so loose (which is what is stated in the fitting instructions) for the cover plate to fit afterwards that they move around. They only just fit in the back boxs. The fused connection unit in this range has the earth terminal right in the way of the lugs on a dryline box which makes them very awkward to fit. All in all a nightmare wouldn't recommend them at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good as expensive competitors Pros: looks every bit as good as more expensive competing products, easy to fit Cons: The back boxes need to be accurately fitted.. The socket fills the back box completely from top to bottom so if the long edge of the socket box is a bit bowed or gummed up with plaster, it can be a struggle to fit. I used an angle grinder on a few of my boxes to just shave a bit off them. You can leave the face plate off for easy painting and clip it on after, though avoid getting too much paint on the back plate where the clips attach. If the walls aren't flat and true, screwing the back plate tight can make the face plate harder to fit, though it's thin metal and can be gently shaped to fit better, or packers used to prevent the back plate deforming. The screws come in a little packet not attached to the socket, and in the 5 pack they can jump out of the box as you pull the socket out.. If you're working at height or near a hole, bear it in mind to prevent the screws being lost..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap bad designed socket These sockets are terrible to fit, not enough to play in them. Unless back box is level plum and clean, sockets won't fit. They do fit ok on dry lining boxes, would not buy again.
