Keep Safe Welders Gauntlets Large is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good gloves Good gloves for the price, used them for multiple things like when hedge cutting and always kept hands warm and cut free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for everything* These are fantastic gloves, comfortable, warm, and tough as anything. They sometimes take a bit of wearing in but soon become soft and supple. Even after a year of use you can still grab brambles and thorn bushes with them and not feel a thing. These gloves are also indispensable when cooking over a camp fire as they are amazingly heat proof, I am almost tempted to replace my oven gloves with a pair. I ware these when doing any kind of metal work or grinding and they are great at reducing vibrations. All in all an absolute must have for just about anyone. *may not be suitable for chauffeurs or brain surgeons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gardening gloves Like most reviewers i bought these for gardening when dealing with brambles. Most gardening gloves have leather palms but cloth tops which the brambles easily penetrate. You can buy all leather gardening gloves but they are usually twice the price of these. These also offer the advantage of added protection to your wrists and lower forearm as they fit higher up your arm than conventional gardening gloves. These are thick and would benefit from a few wears to break them in and to make them more supple. For added protection I would recommend the leather welding sleeves also available from Screwfix.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Value leather gloves These are sold as 'welders gloves', though I bought them for extra protection dealing with thorns and brambles in the garden. They are marked as size 10 (EN420 std); my hands are not overly large and they are a perfect snug fit; so I would say they tend more to a 'medium' size. Larger hands may find them too snug. They are lined with a soft finish and are comfortable and warm for such a robust glove. The cuffs cover the wrists very well too. I have not had them long so cannot comment on how long they would last but for the price they seem very well made. As for protection they are marked as EN388 and EN407 Cat. 2 glove. EN388 performance is Abrasion Resistance 4/4 Blade cut resistance 1/5 Tear resistance 4/4 Puncture resistance 4/4 so an excellent result for tough gardening or (dry) household jobs needing a high level of physical protection. EN407 performance is Burning 4/4 Contact heat 1/4 Convection heat 3/4 Small splashes molten metal 4/4 with a fail for radiant heat and large metal splashes. so not the best welding gloves but ok for small jobs and would probably make excellent oven gloves. As thick leather gloves they do not lend themselves to delicate work requiring dextrous fingers, but they are not too thick given the level of protection offered.
