Irwin Record 135 Series Sash Clamp 24" (610mm) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Sash Cramp The saying "you get what you pay" for is certainly appropriate for this product. Although on first appearances all sash cramps look very much the same, however, it is not until you use them that the flaws show, e.g. not cramping up squarely because the cramping surfaces splay outwards as soon as you apply any pressure. Having used these type cramps in a busy joiner's shop for many years I have never known them fail. The Irwin Record cramps, regardless of size, are first class items which always cramp up smoothly and squarely, if you a professional trades person or a serious amateur don't buy the cheaper versions you will be disappointed and no doubt you will have to replace them with quality products later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality item A very useful clamp. It is very strong, the screw thread works smoothly, it stands up on the bench if necessary and full adjustment is easy and quick. You will need more of these than you think! Best purchased in pairs, in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great clamp I have 6 Irwin sash clamps now in different sizes and they are the envy of the local builders in France where I use them. They seem expensive compared to many alternatives, but the slide and head of the clamps stay parallel under pressure keeping the wood straight which is what you expect from a clamp, (cheaper clamps don't do this). The adjustment pin that goes through the slider bar (same system on all Irwin clamps) tends to fall out when moving the clamp which can be irritating in awkward positions so it would be nice to have a locking clip for that. The chain on the pin stops the pin from getting lost and the latest clamps I received had a small bolt in the last hole in the slider bar to stop the sliding foot coming off accidentally which is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for the woodworker I have several sizes of the Record clamps, which I use continually for gluing, laminating, furniture repair and straightening pieces of wood. The clamps are the most capable devices I've used, and can deliver the greatest pressure experienced to date, without bending or slippng. With the use of extension bars, they become even more versatile and adaptable in the shop for any number of applications. Their design makes them easy to adjust and store, as well.
