Honeywell Pressure Reducing Valve x is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the tin. We use these valves to reduce pressure below incoming main where we have taken the cold water storage tank offline and redirected the CWDS to DCWM. This enables us to control pressures to dwellings that may have older pipework and would cause leaks if full mains pressure was allowed to flow. overall a great product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful pipe squeal, rubbish! Bought to replace an old but working prv whilst upgrading the incoming pipework for a softener install. Once in there was the most awful squealing noise when anything was running at low flow. Swapped for the old one (set to same pressure) and works perfectly. I now have the same issue with its 15mm version on the hard water line I have installed. Awful product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great PRV Great PRV, good value. Used to replace RWC PRV which was needed for an unvented cylinder. All good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beware of vertical install I boutht this for a rising main install just before a new water conditioner. The instructions say it can be used horizontal or vertical orientation BUT in vertical install the angled valve part with the green knob must face UP, at which point the water flow arrow faces DOWN. As in most houses the mains feed is up from the floor and there was not enough room for a horizontal install. After 2 hrs on phone Honeywell customer services could not tell my why this is a stipulation. I returned and bought a cheaper alternative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Replacement! This pressure reducing valve was purchased to replace an existing one on a well known mains pressure cylinder. Everything needed was in the box and it fitted easily where the existing valve was. Simple set up allowed me to adjust to optimum performance. Please remember not to set above appliance rating and remember to remove the adjusting tool, you don't want any fiddling after!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent. Used a good few of these now over the last three or four years and found them to be very good, no problems whatsoever. Fitted one at home, how's that for a recommendation?
