Honeywell Pressure Reducing Valve x is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good PRV I purchased this prv to put in my mains water inlet as have a water softener and needed to make sure the pressure does not go too high. Fitting was easy and the instructions are good. It has worked well and reduced the noise the pipes make as well as maintaining a regular pressure. The only down sides are the join for the gauge is plastic and does not seal well and the valve makes a slight noise when in use. Overall worth getting to protect your water system from high pressure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the Job Bought this to reduce the pressure on home supply to our hot water boiling tap. The gauge is a great idea as I can instantly turn the pressure up or down. The Guage has a plastic thread on so just hope it stands he time. So far so good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good PRV with gauge. Never realised I had a PRV until I moved the water softener which was in front of it! Replaced the valve as I had never serviced it and we had poor water pressure to our showers so I guessed the old valve was not working properly. This new value was easy to fit and was set to 3bar. Now we have 2 decent showers and no noisy water pipes.. we realised the old valve was the thing causing all that noise!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from PRV does the Trick Woke up to a leak on the kitchen floor, it appeared to be from the Boiling hot water Tap overflow. Sourced a Honeywell Pressure Reducing Valve from ScrewFix; to reduce the pressure of the water on the inlet side of the filter. Screw Fix delivered the next day, great service. The PRV was very easy to fit, don't forget your PFTE tape to ensure the pressure gauge doesn't leak. 30 mins all in and very happy wife, nice cup of tea, no leak, smiles all around. Of note the valve appears to be factory set to 3 bar, which was handy as that's the required pressure. However, instructions don't tell you that so i may just have been lucky. I would buy again but very much hope not to. I gave 3 stars for reliability mainly because the valve hasn't been in-situ long enough to tell.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good after slaes service. I bought two of these PRV's a few months ago. One has recently failed as when all taps were turned off the pressure slowly built up to mains pressure (4.7bar). I needed to reduce pressure as some flexible monobloc tap tails were rated at only 3bar. Screwfix sold me a replacement then refunded full cost when I returned faulty unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent PRV Banging pipes. Portsmouth Water suggested PRV (they did not admit to the pressure being raised - 3.75 Bar) Plumber said he had fitted an unbranded PRV for his mother-in-law to cure her banging pipes, and to be aware it would be noisy, I bought the Honeywell one and the plumber fitted it. No more banging pipes. It was totally quiet and impressed the plumber so much that he was going to get the Honeywell PRV to retrofit his mother-in-law's system.
