Heavy Duty Shelving 900 x 450 x 1800mm is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 428.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good value Instructions are on a very small piece of single paper so the detail isn't very viewable. However once you figure out which way around the clips on the metal shelf sections fit into the upright sections you don't really need instructions. The uprights are in 2 sections to make the full height. So in theory you could have 2 half hight shelves but they would not be suitable for work benches. A rubber mallet came in handy to build this as the metal shelf cross sections are gently knocked downwards all the time to encourage the clips into the key hole cut outs on the uprights. This is where they lock into place. The uprights when made up to full height are joined by a central bracket. After you reached the top half the downwards force of the tapping caused the join of the centre uprights to become splayed out. This was easily fixed as the metal is very soft. Once the plywood shelves are inserted the hole thing takes on a very rigid and strong feeling. Overall very good compared to plastic alternatives. I ended up going back and buying three in total.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right I bought this shelving unit for the garage. Fairly easy to assemble. Strong and sturdy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit for purpose These shelves were easy to put together by using the picture on the box and not the miniscule diagrams on the instruction sheets. The vertical joint looked a little flimsy but seems to be working. The box was even small enough to go in the boot of my car.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tips When you have completed the bottom section and have moved to the next step fitting the 4 corner joining plates make sure that there are 3 of the keyhole slots showing above the top shelf .this is not in the instructions which are not very helpful. I spent an hour trying to figure it out until the penny dropped and I moved the top shelf of the bottom half down one position.seemed a bit wobbly however once fixed to the wall and bolted together (if more than one)with holes provided the units are very sturdy.i bolted them together to square them up however the instructions don't mention that.good value for money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Affordable and Reliable Easy to assemble with a hammer. Instructions are much to be desired. Bought 3. Built in an hour. Now storing my stuff. Sorted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent value Very good price for a nice sturdy product. Assembly instructions are pretty poor so I relied on the picture on the box to help. Took a wee bit of figuring out but went together easily enough in the end. Cheaper than most alternatives I looked at and better quality too, just needs clearer instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Robust enough Easy to assemble, after the first, and surprisingly sturdy. They need securing to wall which might present a couple of challenges in a wonky-walled garage (or a new-build!) but do support a fair bit of weight - they only appear flimsy when making them up, once assembled better than you’d expect. You can’t actually work off them, they are for storage only and the shelves don’t like damp conditions, otherwise a real winner and the price is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value Good value and remarkably strong shelving. The instructions enclosed were ok and going on the hints from the reviews as well it was soon assembled. Although the shelves are quite thin they are able to support some heavy loads.I did give the shelves a coat of varnish to give a wipe clean surface.
