Halolite LED Constant Voltage Driver 1-16W is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Over rated at 16watts I bought this to replace a transformer powering two down lighters. I fitted 2 ,5 watt led bulbs - 10 watt ? After 2 minutes both lamps started to flash, I assumed it was overheating so I pulled the transformer out of the ceiling but even in free air it continued to flash until I removed one of the two bulbs, it would then work normally, so I had to use two transformers to get satisfactory operation. Not 16 watts, not even 10.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the greatest driver Great for the price , but not the best to work with , live and neutral connections at opposite sides with little room before the cord grip area , would hate to loop in and out with this one . Also driver is not secured in the casing and rattles around . Bought once ,never again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the job. Bought one of these as a replacement to run some under cabinet lighting, easy to use good design as it has 3 output ports on it. Can't comment on reliability as I've just fitted it this week.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beware included instructions The included instructions are for two different devices. The first you encounter are not for this one. The first instructions are for an IP68 device, which this emphatically is not! Other than that, no problems.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so good! I bought this specifically to run 5 2.9w led downlights, which I purchased at the same time. The total wattage came in at 14.5w - this unit states it supplies 16w - it doesn't. Whilst all 5 units were on the circuit all I got was the strobe effect, remove one unit and they worked and then if the removed unit was replaced it would also work? Baffling . . . I would not recommend this unit, as it doesn't seem to work to the prescribed output.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Lights pulse on and off, clearly not constant voltage. It's going back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I bought this unit to power 5 of Screwfix's 2.9w MR16 downlighters (ie 14.5w total). It could not drive them despite a claimed 16w capacity. When i tried 4 bulbs (ie 11.6w) it improved, but was still very hit and miss. Symptoms - lights flash rapidly on and off - which I've read is its over-current mode. I read that sometimes AC transformers can be used with LED's (god know how!). I tried one and it dd not. But the second one I tried of a different make/model worked perfectly. So my advice, if you have some old AC units, try those first - you might save yourself some money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from didn't work I tried two of these, the first one lasted about two weeks then made the bulbs flash, it got worse of the next few weeks, i took it back and replaced it with a new one, that was the same...
