Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking tap Got this tap in chrome for my new kitchen, looks great , as for reliability it's only fitted so time will tell, but I did have the exact same tap in my last house with no problems in 8 years

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sturdy tap with nice flow Quality tap with a nice smooth movement and nice steady flow. Love it, what more can I say! I bought this with a franke 1 1/2 bowl sink which was also on offer. We only got it fitted a few days ago by a plumber, but like it so far. Has smartened up our kitchen which we have had for 8 years but had only bought a basic sink and tap at the time. Good sink - I recommend. I bought this with a Franke tap which was good too. I purchased online and collected from store and got some cashback via topcashback too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Franke Olympus Tap Chrome This was an easy to fit tap. It seems to be very high quality and is quite heavy. I can’t comment on longevity as it’s only been fitted for a couple of days but the water flows smoothly out of it and the operation of the handles just glide. The only downside I can say that I experienced is that the tap connectors supplied are half the length of my previous tap and I had to buy some tap connector extensions which was a little frustrating for the price I paid for the tap but they only come to a few pounds on top. I would highly recommend this product and hope it lasts for many years to come...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design, poor finish Believing Franke offered high quality products, I fitted this tap about 8 years ago. Since then I have replaced both the cold and hot side valves and now the hot side is leaking, yet again. The rubber O rings for the spout wear out within a few months of being renewed. This means there is a slow seepage of water back down the spout even when the tap is inactive. There is also an unpleasant deposit of black rubber grunge from the worn O rings round the base of the spout. I have lost count of the times I have replaced these, at least 10 times. Finally, the "brushed satin" (or whatever implausible description they use) of the finish is very poor. It wore away quickly (and has continued to deteriorate) around the end of the spout and around the base of the pillar, revealing the brass coloured metal beneath. In use, the tap is quite good when the worn bits are replaced. The quarter turn action is smooth (until the valve wears) and the water is delivered in a pleasing aerated stream. The good points just do not make up for the very poor component life and the low quality of the finish. I am now scrapping this tap and looking for another which needs less, costly maintenance

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Tap I just wanted a good looking solid tap and this has the look and feel I wanted. When you open the package its clear you have bought quality, the movements are smooth and positive and the spout has no play unlike my previous cheaper unit. One added bonus is it has is slightly wider than the original so it runs directly into the drain holes in both sinks. Fitting was easy just check what fittings you have

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Low Pressure Tap I searched high and low for an appropriate Low Pressure monobloc kitchen tap to replace a horrible brown leaking one. I found the Bristan Artisan tap which seemed ok but the reviews were not at all positive. I then stumbled upon this Franke tap at Screwfix which is similar looking to the Bristan but had excellent reviews. It came with flexible tails and I ended up having to reuse the old monobloc's copper tails as they connect to Speedfit pushfit fitings on the copper feed pipes. Not an issue though and it installed easily and the kitchen look so much better. Water stops flowing as soon as you turn the taps off and the mechanism is light and smooth on both the taps and the spout. Highly recommended.
