Rated 3 out of 5 by from Peace of mind It's a mixed review. I used this to fit a flush to wall toilet. Flush to wall toilets are a nightmare because you just can't see what's happening when you push the pan back against the wall. First time was fine, no leaks and no issues. Second time was a disaster. Ì have to confess that this was partly my fault as the second time round I never lubricated the seal before offering up the pan. The result was that the friction bètween the rubber seal and the ceramic was too great and forced the rubber to come away from connector which obviously made it useless. Had it been a normal toilet with exposed and visible waste connection It would behave been less of a problem. That's when I remembered the last time I did this job in the downstairs loo I used a different pan connector. MCALPINE MACFIT MAC-1 WC STRAIGHT PAN CONNECTOR WHITE 90-112MM (78806) View. Just type in 78806 on the screwfix search bar. It's about £2 more but I don't remember having any issues using it. The only reason I'm telling you this is because it's half past eight on a Sunday morning and I'm waiting for screwfix to open at nine so I can pick one up. I hope this helps anyone installing their own bathroom on a weekend from falling foul of my own experience on a Saturday night making you forget about the productive day of DIY you've just had and leaving you feeling like a complete failure in life before bed resulting in a poor nights sleep and a feeling of dread when you wake. Had I remembered to put a bit of washing up liquid on it before hand I probably wouldn't be here writing this review right now ànd instead would have moved onto the basin and wall mounted taps ( with its own unique mix of stress and anxiety). So out of pure past experience and for peace of mind and sanity I don't think I would use this product again. Anyway I can see the shutter being raised now so I'm back in action and back on the tools.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Struggled Once again, there isn't a plan view with sizes clearly shown. I had to return to the store to buy another one as using one didn't reach Secondly, the rubber section that fits onto the toilet outlet is easily dislodged I had to take the whole thing apart about 6 times before I managed to fit it I have left the covers off etc as I don't know if it going to leak

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay if you know how to fit it I always read the reviews about any product I buy... please read the reviews about this one, they help!!! I test fitted the pan connector (as I always do) and all seemed good. I then fitted it for real and connected up the WC to the water supply an tested it. Half flush fine. Full flush was leaking out the bottom of the connector (pouring actually). Mmm. Okay, what have I done wrong? Unhooked the water supply. Pulled the WC out and removed the connector. Lo and behold, as others have reported, the gasket had detached at the bottom which causes a leak. Popped off the gasket cover, reseated it, clipped it back on and applied a damp cloth to the pan and connector (I'm not a fan of washing up liquid). Reinstalled the bog and all worked perfectly. So, it works well but it's flawed. I would buy one of these again now I know how to fit it. The best feature? It does give quite a bit of flexibility if you have a slight vertical offset between the pan and soil pipe. I'm talking up 10mm here imho.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Spend a bit more a decent quality one. This is my second one I bought that day and the rubber seal inside comes up very easily and does''t go back in! lucky for us we kept the old one from our old toilet and used that instead. Will be returning both to store. very Inconvenient.
