Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality I decided to fit this filter to help clean my heating system before fitting a new boiler. The filter feels and looks quality and cleverly can be flushed without having to unscrew the top. This makes cleaning very quick. I used this to add the cleaner and inhibitor into the system. Just remember that ever time you flush the filter and top up with a filling loop you are diluting your inhibitor, I just use the filter to top this up after a few flushes. This filter is more expensive than most but looks like it will last the test of time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tidy Fernox Filter Fitted one of these chaps at the weekend so I cant comment on reliability or performance as yet. Going to let it run for a few weeks before I have a look. If the pipes are in a hard to reach area this will be a bit tricky to fit. My pipes were all bunched tightly together and required a bit of re-jigging of the fill loop to accommodate the filter. If your free and clear then 20 mins should see this fitted, if not bank on an hour or two. Its fairly straight forward with the right tools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fernox TF1 Total Filter Having had problems with blockages in my own central heating system I decided to invest in this system filter. It was a breeze to fit and all installed and working within 30 minutes. After 1 week checked the filter and was quite surprised at the amount of debris and rusted metal bits caught in the filter. So far I am very impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magnetic Attraction I hadn't heard of one of these before, but the plumber stressed the importance of one when we had a new boiler fitted. At first it seems expensive for a fancy magnet, but it's the only way to go. Very reassuring when you clean out the gunk it has collected. especially when you consider that mess would all accumulate in your beloved new VERY EXPENSIVE Boiler, and one day clog it up. A small price to pay for peace of mind. Was easy for the plumber to fit, he recomended the brand. It now just sits there and does its stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fernox Tf1 filter i like this unit gives confidence to know what the pipes are circulating and customers can see what dirty contaminated water results in. also when the system is clean. Other positvives are easy to install good qualiy fittings included. i would always buy this model unless space was a problem as this unit is quite tall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommended product Added a filter to my Central heating system after I replaced the circulating pump. The old pump had significant amounts of debris inside it. Fitting the filter was very easy. It took less than 20 minutes. After re-filling the central heating system and bleeding out the air I ran the system for 10 minutes. I then closed the isolating valves of the filter and removed the top cover to inspect the filter chamber. I was amazed at the amount of debris that had been trapped in such a short time. After cleaning the filter I added Fernox F1 to the chamber, replace the top, bled out the air and re-opened the isolating valves. I checked the filter again the following day and removed a similar quantity of debris. I will probably check the filter monthly over the winter. Overall I am very impressed with its effectiveness and ease of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TF1 filter Easy to install and easy isolate and clean. In my view it should be sold with either a cleaner and or inhibitor for extra value for money. Another point is the compact is cheaper but only available next day which isn't helpful if you're already in store
