Sabrefix Fence Repair Spike 75 x 75mm 2 Pack is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from spike with some concern at the hassle i might get trying to replace 2 damaged fence posts i bought these to save some time and in hope they would do a decent job. Knocking then in was a doddle, one perfect upright but the second a little off vertical which i found impossible to correct so will live with it. The alternate however was dig out the one cement and paths my side and neighbours so overall this has done a great job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saves a lot of time and effort No need to dig out the huge lump of concrete just hammer one of these around the broken off wooden post. Use a sledge hammer and protect the top of the spike with a piece of wood. You should be able to use the old post just trim of the base to give the correct height using string across the top of the two adjacent posts. If the post breaks in the future it will be easy to replace. Please note that the post will be secure in the spike but will not feel quite as solid as when it is in embedded in concrete ie it will rock slightly if pushed to and fro. This does not seem to matter though and worth it for the huge amount of time and effort saved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved a lot of effort Given the task of digging a post out of concrete in a narrow gap between two walls I looked for alternatives. After reading the reviews I was reassured these would work. Ordered them for next day delivery and then banged one in using a club hammer. A sledgehammer may be better but space didn’t allow. Very sturdy support and definitely saved me a lot of tedious, careful chipping away to get the old post out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fence saver This product is a life saver my fence blew down in the wind due to rotten post bases due to age. I had to repair fence as I have a dog and young kids so it was all about speed this simple knocks in between the old bit of post still in the concrete and the concrete itself no digging out the old concrete block. Took 5 mins to knock in then the new post slotted in and panels refitted only two post were broken whole job took less than an hour. Can't comment on reliability yet bit dies feel sturdy

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing We read the reviews expected these to be perfect to repair a rotten fence post. They would not go through the concrete. They warped as you hit them. We ended up digging a hole to drop them in and then concreted around. Not what was expected. We have used cheaper fence spikes that have worked better in the past.
