Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice Excellent little saw, plenty of power, went through a hard wood post like nothing, and even accidentally went through a nail without realizing, so purposely cut a thick screw with to test and went through it so quick, my grinder wouldn't cut it that quick

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value My first circular saw, and I was initially bewildered by the range in types and prices. settled for a mid priced Evolution and pleased I did. Does what I expected. Easy to handle. Instructions not great but I could live with that. Overall well pleased with what seems like a well built piece of kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 3rd Evolution Power Tool I decided to buy this as it is a completely up-to-date design just like the sliding saw I bought 2 months ago. I have always regarded Evolution tools as excellent having bought a older and heavier discontinued circular saw at a bargain price 5 years ago -still going strong but 6.6kgs. I put it to work as soon as I got it and was not disappointed. I find with dado cuts you need clamped twin tracks for a circular saw (and I recommend you make a good long straight wood fence to butt up the saw to for those always wanted long metre sized cuts without a table saw). The alternatives I considered were either a table saw or a router, both expensive and not as versatile or bulky in a small work area. Whilst no red laser light I found it easier to see the cut - don't forget safety glasses. Recommend youtube videos by Russell Platten if unsure.
