Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value My old circular saw died right in the middle of a job, went on the screwfix site, ordered this one - it was ready straight away. I've had some other Erbauer goods and they are the well made, rugged and reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected As a DIY'er I viewed the shortening of our solid wood bespoke room doors with some trepidation. Should not have worried. With the standard blade fitted and a guide clamped to the door it was one pass to complete the job to give a smooth finish. The door was re-fitted in minutes with no further cutting needed. Can't comment really on reliability but the saw will be passed on to my son and will get a lot of use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Top Tool I'm only a DIYer but after owning a cheap circular saw I thought I'd buy something that whilst still cheap had a little more substance to it. I've only used it while putting up a fence but so far it feels solid and cut neatly and easily though gravel board after gravel board. Looking forward to making my shed now!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Probably worth the money. While it is not obvious on paper what the difference is between this saw and the cheaper ones, this becomes clear in operation. This was so much better than the basic one that I bought late last year. More powerful, better blade with more teeth (lesson learned - more teeth is a good thing). Disappointing that it is not supplied with cut guide.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Watch the spindle bolt! Had this saw for over a year now (I think I actually have an older model but my order history tells me it's this one) I finally changed the blade for some fine work recently and the thing that jumped out at me straight away was that the blade retaining bolt is a regular right handed thread. On all other rotary tools I've had, this bolt is reverse so it doesn't come loose when the machine runs. Make sure you tighten it up really tight or it will come loose while you're cutting, did to me this morning! Other than that, it's a great saw, hasn't let me down other than that one thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the job I can not fault this saw it does exactly what I need easy to use with loads of adjustment required for any cuts needed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent piece of kit Finally replaced an ancient power saw. Was making a decking step - not a major project, but still needed many accurate cuts, including longitudinal cuts in some meaty bearers. The new saw did not disappoint! It is sturdy, has easy to follow instructions and cut perfectly. Slightly heavy, but probably no bad thing. Decent bag too!
