Rated 5 out of 5 by from . Worked wonders. Easy to control. Smooth glide across surface as it wore away excess to required depth. Got me out of trouble beneath a doorway. Couldn't ask for more...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good value for money. I used the diamond grinding cup to remove old plaster and paint from concrete block. it worked really well on removing both and didn't do too much damage to the block underneath. I cleaned 12m2 and the blade still looks brand new so it doesn't wear too quickly either. I would defiantly recommend this grinding cup, its really good value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Erbauer Diamond Grinding Cup I used the cup to grind off a concrete area of about 7 sqm where I had used an exterior levelling compound to restore an old greenhouse base which tapered 25mm from one side to very little at the other. Unfortunately levelling compound does not always level as well as you might want it to, especially on warm days when it goes off very quickly! Therefore to take the high spots off with the grinding cup has worked well. I used a Makita 115mm angle grinder and held it (without the side handle) at the top as if I was sanding by hand, my other hand held the body. I found the trick was to let the tool do the work, only pressing lightly and keeping it flush to the surface. If you don't, you get grooves. Pleased with the finish albeit I need more practise using levelling compound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from effective and great value Bought to remove excess scratch coat after removing render. Had previously gone through a wire brush and separate sanding disc. Both of these worked, but only managed about 4 sqm each before they wore out completely. The grinding cup finished the rest of the building - approx 50 sqm - and is less than half worn. Very efficient and leaves a great finish. As others have suggested, works best when used flat against surface of wall. Impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb for a low price I needed to take some concrete down in a few areas where it was uneven to tile a floor. This item does the job fast and efficiently which was a bit of a surprise for the price. Dust extractor is needed if indoors Excellent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Grinder bit fails Whilst this grinding disc is the perfect thickness the blade fails long before the teeth are worn out. I bought two and both failed nearly new. I got them both refunded. In my opinion the disc itself wears before the teeth, this is a design fault that needs fixing. If the disc was much harder wearing this would be an ideal tool for repointing purposes.
