Erbauer Diamond Tile Drill Bit 6 x 67mm is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 144.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Drill Drilled 13 holes in hard black porcelain tiles and still going. My tips: mark the hole position onto masking tape, using a steel drill gauge tape this over the marked hole position to prevent slip selecting the correct hole size, start drill slow until you have a circle on the tile then select fast speed, not too much pressure let the bit work and keep dipping the drill into a cup of water, 2 mins to drill each hole, piece a cake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive so far I was very sceptical about this drill’s pricey that’s for sure..and I’ve bought pricey drill bits in the past and they last about 4 holes before being useless... But with rock hard porcelain tiles, I needed something to drill the reviews on here and thought let’s do it!!!! Well I’m impressed so far..using a battery drill, start off on low speed at an angle so the bit bites into the tile..keeping it steady and have a spray bottle of water at all as it drills into the tile keep it wet.. Once it bites straighten the drill up and then hit it with high speed and keep that bottle drilled through 10mm porcelain in less than a minute... Done 12 holes so far and it’s still going ... I would honestly recommend this product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality drill bits I drill porcelain tiles regularly and have brought cheap and very expensive drill bits. These are very very good, the price is just right, even better if you multi buy. You don't need a guide just a steady hand, don't push on the bit and move it around using a high speed. I always keep these types of bits cool dipping them in water every few seconds as I'm drilling, gets you a longer lifespan. You won't be disappointed with these bits.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good bit Super tough porcelain tiles. Still took about 8mins to drill each hole but then the old combi drill I used was a bit slow. Bit is still almost as good as new after 4 holes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works on porcelain tiles I spent 6 hours drilling 1 & half holes using a decent drill & bit (Hilti if you must know) through a porcelain tile. Using this Diamond Tile Drill Bit, it took me 12 minutes to drill the remaining 1 & half holes! I used masking tape and masonry drill bit to start the holes off, but this Tile Bit is fantastic.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 4 holes then dead You choose! Personally wish I'd bought a few cheap drill bits instead of 20 quid on this. Good initially but ended up in the bin once the 4th hole was done. The bit looked ok but failed to make a dent in the porcelain tile for hole number 5. Wouldn't buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally worth the money Needed to drill through bathroom tiles but was unsure whether they were ceramic or porcelain. Took a gamble and bought a highly reviewed spear shaped drill bit. After over an hour on one hole, decided they were definitely porcelain and then quit. I then bought this instead. 4 holes now drilled and shelf on the wall in about 15 minutes. The spear drill bit certainly made a dent but that was pretty much it. It's also very annoying and messy having to keep it cool with water. With this bit, no water is required, and after 4 holes it still looks as good as new. Other reviewers have said that a drill guide is essential but if you only have a couple of jobs to do, then £15 seems a frivolous expense. Starting off, the drill does slide around a lot, even with masking tape over the tile. We found starting really lightly just to scuff the glaze worked, and then achieved a very clean hole.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did the job Used to drill through porcelain tiles and it did the job ok. Seems to drill better used dry rather than wet as this clogs up the diamond bit reducing the cut and this then takes longer to drill through the tile. They do get very hot and the 6mm bit only managed 10 holes before it went blunt, but I would say it will probably last longer used with a less hard tile. It's an expensive purchase but better than using a masonry drill bit. Would recommend.
