Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the Job I don't normally do reviews but thought I had to with this. I had 2 holes to drill through ceramic tile 1cm thick. My previous experience of drilling holes in tiles is not good but with this and the Erbauer drilling guide it went through the tile like a knife through butter, with no breaks or chips. I couldn't believe how quick it was. I know it was only 2 holes but the drill still looks like new!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Erbauer 35mm Diamond Tile Dril Quality drill bit, went through 8mm textured porcelain tiles with no issues. Despite claiming that the drill bit requires no cooling I used water. Would recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be careful when drilling Bought this item to drill 6+ holes for first fit in bathroom for body jets and shower head. Followed the instructions of running dry and on a high drill speed..... big mistake!! Despite the pack saying to be used dry, the core bit gets far too hot and renders it useless after drilling one hole (in 10mm hard porcelain tile). Exchanged at Screwfix the following day and ran on slow and steady speed with plenty of water to keep cool and drills like a dream. Averaged a few minutes per hole including stopping to purge the bit in water to cool. I recommend this drill bit if you dont follow the instructions on the pack and website!! 6 holes in and looks like new. Worked perfectly with DeWalt drill and used the drilling tile guide from screwfix as it is difficult to get started without slipping unless you use a pilot drill with this bit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Maybe I just got a dodgy bit, as the other Erbauer bits I have are great. Unfortunately, this one managed only 2 consecutive holes in 9mm ceramic floor tiles (with cool-down time between) before the heat of the third one warped the metal; it is now completely unusable and will be getting returned. Not really usable for dry cutting, but would be fine for wet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Floor tiles Used this to cut holes in floor tiles I used on the wall. It was advertised as being used wet or dry, but I found it got too hot cutting dry and caused the tiles to crack. I cut the rest wet and cut 8 holes with no problems. Make sure you buy a tile cutter guide to hold the drill bit steady and take time to keep the bit and tile cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy work After wasting time with a number of other drill bits, i thought I'd try this. A little more expensive that some, but the time saved drilling 10mm polished porcelain was worth it. i made a guide out of ply to keep the bit steady to begin with and wet to keep it cool, then it went through clean and easy. 2 star for features, its a drill bit and doesn't have many features otherwise 5*
