Erbauer Diamond Tile Drill Bit 22 x 8mm is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Drilling Guide Tip This drill bit is an excellent buy. My bit had a hollow shaft. A 4mm diameter stainless steel rod was a good fit. I let approximately 20mm protrude so the drill now had a centre pin. It was simply a matter of using a small 5mm tile drill to make a pilot hole to locate the centre pin. I drilled 10 holes using this method which was simple and very accurate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Expensive but does the job Used this to cut pipe holes in 10mm tiles. Did the job perfectly - ideal for 15mm copper pipe. A tip: Bore a hole slightly bigger than the Erbauer bit in a piece of plywood or timber, and hold against the tile over the required hole position to stop the diamond bit sliding all over the tile. I started by clamping the ply onto the tile, but found that holding in place with my left hand did the job just as well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant bit of kit Having struggled in the past to drill tiles cleanly this bit was a revelation. Cuts quickly and as long as you use a piece of timber or similar as a guide to get it started does not jump or damage the face of the tile, even on bevelled edged tiles. Have only drilled a few tiles so cannot comment on longevity/reliability

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tile Drill This works well, I taped the surface where I wanted the hole and used a pre drilled hole in a spare tile as a cutting guide otherwise the bit can slip and mar the surface. Gives a crisp cut with a good edge. I was cutting ceramic tiles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and clean cut I'm a plumber and have encountered some tough tiles in my time but this bathroom took the biscuit, after an hour and a lot of dead drill bits I decided I needed to get something proper, this did the job with ease , it took about a minute per hole wich was 59 mins quicker than the last attempt, only drilled 9 holes though as this was all I needed so not sure how long it will last but did the 9 with ease, ps I would never normally buy this brand but it did surprise me
