Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid well put together tool Have only just got this tool but so far it has done what I needed it to do without problems. Has a comfortable feel in the hand well mine at least :-) and am quite happy with it. As I said I have only just got it so will see how it goes over time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK but spec is misleading I bought this to dress some welds in a recessed area too confined for an angle grinder. An emergency purchase to get a job done more quickly than using my old slow-but-steady electric grinder. The tool is nicely presented, though a little fussy in design. It feels good in the hand though, and is a better shape than a the straignt cylindrical grinders. There's a reasonable range of mounted stones and good selection of collets. You have two controls - a four-position adjustment for speed and a rotatable collar to position the exhaust at a convenient direction (so that you're not covering it whilst in use). Everything looks to be fairly well-made and the collets are robust and hold the shanks of the stones firmly. The provided spanners are thicker than I expected and look like they will last. My main issue with the tool is not the tool itself, but the specification. Screwfix lists it as having an average air consumption of 4cfm. I double-checked the spec before using the tool and this is confirmed in the instructions and on the box. My compressor will deliver 4.5cfm continually, so I thought the tool would be fine, based on the spec. How wrong I was: I found that after the initial burst of speed just a few seconds later the power of the tool dropped right off. My compressor is nowhere near capable of powering the tool under load. Off-load it runs fine - no problem at all, but the air consumption needed under load is considerably higher. I did some research and found the on-load consumption of this tool to be 16cfm and in fact the average no-load consumption is 4cfm. So in the end I used the tool for about three minutes before it became tedious to use and I reverted back to my old electric grinder. So if you have a compressor that can deliver the air I'm pretty sure that this is a powerful and useful tool. I just wish the spec had stated the true consumption under load - who needs to know how much air a tool uses when it's not actually in use? Too early to tell whether the tool would be reliable, hence the three stars for reliability..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy little tool This is a handy little tool. Its not too heavy and delivers plenty of power at the working end. Good solid quality construction. You will need to buy the adaptor plugs as they do not come with it. Ask at the counter. Nice range of grinder bits do come with it in a handy carry case, Recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Compact Kit Grinder comes on a plastic box keeping it all together and the 3 different size collects makes it quite versatile. Haven't used it much but so far is is doing all I have asked of it and it is nice a small in the hand and easy to use.
