Easyfix Self-Drill Plasterboard Fixings Metal 32mm 250 Pack is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fit for purpose Like so many other copies of the original product, these look the part, but the screw is far too tight for the body. The result is that as you tighten the screw the body rotates in the plasterboard rendering the fixture useless. I deliberated over purchasing these cheaper alternatives, but thought they must be ok with all the good reviews. I was wrong! They would work for attaching a piece of timber or anything that did not involve the screw being driven all the way into the metal body, but for thin brackets etc they are hopeless. Returned these to the store and bought the original Redidriva ones, more expensive, but I know they will do the job properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!!! Really useful and very strong fixtures for attaching things to dry walls. I have used these to create strong shelving with a cupboard and to fix shelving units to wall within my new build house. amazing how many you get for the money too! these will last me my lifetime.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DIY review As good as any other i've used. In the past i've experienced various similar fixings pull through or the receiver rotates excessively enlarging the hole and making the fixing useless. I doubt that tradesmen would have the time for this tip, but for a DIYer...... Prior to use, clamp the receiver in a self grip or pliers. Squirt a little WD40 into the receiver and with a power driver, fully drive in the screw and reverse it out. The pointed end of the receiver is usually deflected by the screw but can be tapped back into alignment. When the screw is reinserted for fixing, it will do so more easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An original fixing innovation I've been using these fixings since the 80's and back then they were a huge leap forwards in effective fixings for plasterboard/drylining. Where accuracy is requred, it is always in your best interests to predrill a 5mm guide hole, or use the cross head screwdriver bit. PreDrilling is vital in over boarded scenarios. Highly recommended and a must have in any tool box.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fit for purpose Love the brand, hate this product. The screw stops 1cm short of the end. Screw too tight to screw in. Results in fixing ripping a hole in the plasterboard. Pretty useless really.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use Those plugs are very easy to use. The only downside is the size of the box - this one is a lifetime supply for DIY'er.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How do they do it at this pric Excellent product with supplied screws as well. The only option I would like is countersunk screws as opposed to flathead ones. But Great value.
