Drayton Mid-Position Valve Actuator is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from MA1 replacement for BG version Other reviews indicated the MA1 as the original product of the BG branded version BGMVSP-23. Easy to replace as a DIY’er.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from just the job Up and running again in 5 minutes. I got confidence from the reviews and answers to the Q and A that I was buying the right thing. Replaces the British Gas version as per the Q and A.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drayron Valve Actuator Cenral heating packed up late Saturday afternoon and by a process of elimination saw that it was the actuator at fault. Looked up product online, saw they were in stock so poped down to my local store in Camberley. Made the purchase without any hastle. Fitted the part that evening and hey presto, we now have central heating! Good result from ScrewFix, staff very helpful and friendly - thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! This was a straight mechanical replacement for a British Gas badged actuator. Instructions are included to remove the existing actuator and fit this one. It has industry standard wire colouring so electrically easy to fit also, by a comment person. Overall a good product. Only been using in for a month but I've given it 5 stars for reliability. If it fails within the guarantee period, I’ll post another review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straight replacement This was a straight replacement for another Drayton mid position valve. The clip at the side is easy to get at so you can quickly remove the old valve and replace with the new. I didn’t have to worry about which wire goes where as all wiring colours remain the same and were replaced like for like (by my registered electrician, of course). Overall a good product, though the original valve is not that old and I thought it should have had a longer life, hence the low reliability score.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy replacement This valve is the perfect replacement for British Gas' BGMVSP-23 Mid-position actuator. It took only a few mins to change it over as it just clicks onto the valve body - and, it doesn't have any association with British Gas. Hard to give a rating for reliability as it's just installed. Its features are that it is a valve actuator. It doesn't connect to the internet or anything.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Straight swap Even though this product seems overpriced for what it is, it's the same no matter who you buy it from. In my experience the unit lasts around 5 years before it 'burns out'. Inevitably it's working in a hot environment which eventually takes its toll. The fitting is a simple swap with 5 colour coded wires. Hard to go wrong no matter how ham fisted you might be :-)
