DeWalt Heavy Duty Stapler / Nailer is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 83.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality Used this to nail down underlay and carpets with 15mm 18 gauge brads worked a treat. Never jammed on me either would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job well My first stapler fired about 300 staples into soft wood without a single failure. The action was easy to use and my hand did not tire. Overall very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great time-saving tool II had to do some upholstery and needed to staple into hardwood. Reading the reviews of different staplers this came out top, although I nearly didn't buy it as someone reported that it wouldn't staple into hardwood. First job was to reupholster a foot stool with a hardwood frame (possibly teak). I had no problems stapling through a couple of layers of material into the wood. I used 140/10mm (3/8") Tacwise staples, stocked by Screwfix. There were no jams and the stapler is quick and easy to load. This is a powerful stapler and you have to make sure that you hold it firmly onto the surface so the staples penetrate to the full depth. A fair amount of force is needed so it might be more difficult if your hands are small, but you can get around this by using two hands. Being a petite female with small hands I was able to operate it with only one hand, though I preferred using two as there was a lot of stapling to do. Saved me a lot of time compared with using a hammer and tacks. It looks very robust and has a safety lock and a belt loop. I like the bright yellow colour as it makes it easy to find in the tool box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A* staple gun Before I say how good it was just mention that for value and features put 4 just because you want to control impact when using the stapler. Value just because if it was not on sale may not looked at it. If I didn't purchase this item I would have missed out on an absolute dream of a tool to have in your inventory a must buy. Just thinking about it now I have gone back and changed my mind and keep the above review points lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magic Nail Gun I bought this as it was trade rated I was not disappointed, this is a great little piece of kit for any tool bag, not bulky or heavy and really easy to use The loading of Brad nails and Staples is very easy to change between jobs I used this with Brad nails to make repairs to my garden shed and was not disappointed with the results and again I used it with various staples for different materials inside the shed enabling me to complete the job I am really happy and pleased with the results

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality Much better quality than previous staplers I have owned. Yes, it's more expensive but it is much more effective

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good Dewalt Stapler I have only used this stapler a few times to staple a couple of carpets down but it seems like a good solid stapler. I found the handle easy to squeeze, unlike others have found and it is simple to reload. The reason for 3 stars on features is that it would have been nice to have had two pressure settings for use on different materials. But the main reason is that it has one big drawback in that from the end of the stapler to where the staple comes out is quite large about 7 mm which means you cannot staple close up to object / edges. (My old stapler was about 2 mm from the edge so there is quit a difference). Reliability score is an assumption as I have not used it much.
