British General 6A 2-Way Pull Cord Switch White is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lighting pull cord switch Picture is not representative, I wanted switch with no visible screws as the picture shows, the switch has visible screws. Otherwisw its a good well made switch, easy to fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid!! Should have read the reviews! Installed for a customer and called back with in a few months that not working. Replaced with an alternative and took switch away. Read on one review that the mechanism jams up and with a simple tap, it will free itself up! Low and behold, take it home, tap it on the side and it works. Not gonna tell the customer, 'just tap it, it will work fine'!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed within 18 months... Like others this failed quickly for me. You pull the cord and nothing happens. You can feel the mechanism is not clicking correctly.Avoid...pick another...unless you like to re-visit jobs!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap rubbish, best avoid. There has been a faulty batch of these made, the pull mechanism stops working after a few months and whilst not expensive to change its a real pain to have to keep changing these, we are on our third replacement. Should have paid extra and bought MK I guess? Spoke to the manufacturer and they are aware that there was a duff batch.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Reliability On my third switch now, failing by the 4th day!!! Not enough time to re-wire and un-wire and keep on visiting Screwfix again and again to get a replacement so will move to another supplier.
