Bosch GKF600 600W ¼" Palm Router 240V is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 97.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice intro to 'routing' What a nice piece of kit this is. I have never owned a router before and thought I would take the plunge as I had a couple of internal doors to fit. As a handheld router, it is light and very responsive. It comes with a moulded case as all power tools should (although the case is rather bigger than necessary). The only disappointment is that it comes with NO router bits. This caused me to make a 2nd trip to my local store. Having used it, I am very happy with the performance. There is no dust bag but I would recommend this unit as a nice introduction to 'routing' (is that a word?).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy palm router I bought this router to do door hinges on a hard wood door. I had never done it this way before as always chisled them out. I wanted to try this way of doing them and was looking for a good router to use. This one had good reviews and it looked a sturdy tool. I was over the moon with the way it handled especially with the square base which meant I could hold it down firmly without getting anywhere near the cutter and having the slight depth adjustment is a great help to get your perfect depth. Really easy to use and set up. It handled really well and I would recommend anyone looking to buy a small router to go for the Bosch. It's not expensive at all plus comes in a case with room for all your router cutters in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from real handy piece of kit this little router is well balanced and real nice in the hand and very easy to control. it spins so quick it has no kick back when plunging and starting a new corner. I have totally used and abused this little router I have really put this thing through its paces and not once has it let me down . it is so handy and easy to use I taught my 14yo daughter how to use it and she uses it (under supervision) of course . she uses it to make signs for TD in school. im going to get another one of these before they run out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The tool that keeps on taking Had this tool for a few years now. If you are looking to use as a flush trim tool - it’s great, lightweight and accurate. Anything else you want to do just seems to cost more and more for accessories. By the time you buy the router, plunge attachment, bush plate and holder you are paying about the price of a Festool. Think carefully about what you want to use this for prior to purchase. There may be better options.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great router Good quality small router. Small yet powerful. Easy to operate. Comes with very useful attachments and carry case. Very easy to do detailed work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not up to Bosch blue standard I wanted to get the Makita alternative but on the day it wasn't in stock and this one was, I have had good experiences with the Bosch blue range so thought it would be fine. While it does light routing well enough, build quality and design are disappointing. The fine adjustment screw is a fine and shallow thread which comes all greased, the grease quickly gets filled with dust and the screw rarely engages. The stamped mild steel fence is very flexible, not easy to adjust and prone to error. After about a year of light (trade) use, it vibrates a lot and sounds very sick. The collet falls apart if you don't change bits upside down. Overall not up to scratch for a professional user and probably too expensive for a once-a-year hobbyist, Bosch should probably discontinue this model.
