Rated 5 out of 5 by from All jobs done, time to review Purchased this a good year and a half ago. It's amazing how much easier doing up taps is when you have the correct tool. Nearly didn't get one of these after all the one star reviews, glad I did, still going strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keep one in your toolkit. It doesn't look like much but when you need it ... boy do you need it. Fingers and tools seldom fit in the space provided for taps ... you need to be a contortionist at the very least to even see what's what. I generally only use it for installing taps and the removal of brass backnuts with clean threads. If you have plastic backnuts and you want the taps off and they've been there for any length of time... use a sharp 8mm wood chisel to split the nut. It'll save you a lot of time and cussing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and Dependable I bought the basin wrench as I have a loose tap, and it's the right tool for the job. For the price it is well made and solid and more than capable. One of those tools you have in the garage, which is rarely used, but when needed it'll never let you down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal. Can't fault this for the price. It's one of those tools you might only ever use once in a blue moon, but is worth its weight in gold. Makes a job easier in a tight spot like bath taps, where access isn't great.
