Rated 1 out of 5 by from not as good as they once were. i have been using armeg box sinkers and chisels for a few years now.in the last month i have gone through a tri-cut circular cutter, which became a twin cut when one of the arms snapped off,and 3 of the so called hard material chisels.whereas these chisels used to last for ages, now i find they snap very easily,i usuallly use 2 in rotation to ensure they dont get hot.but this hasnt helped.a manufacturing flaw perhaps?certainly wont be buying armeg products anymore.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's an animal !! This is VERY important: ** It will break at the chuck if it gets hot ** I have broken one and screwfix will NOT replace it. You can use this for maybe 5-10 mins at a time, then you need to let it cool naturally which takes about 10 mins which is fine for sinking boxes, as this is designed for, not so good if using it to remove concrete screed etc. Turns engineering bricks to dust in seconds ! It's an absolute animal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent. I have been using one of these for five years now and it's still going strong. It's not as sharp as it used to be, but over the years its been absolutely hammered. Worth every penny. I'm only leaving this review as I am ordering another one now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from for light work Have use this chisel for about 6 hrs hard work, it is up for the job, edge still keen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice bit of kit Had 15 back boxes in need of sinking, the thought of using a hammer and chisel for that many really put me off so I invested in one of these - best descision in a long time! Concrete block, house brick, even stone (old house!) - no problem at all. As far as reliability, can't say too much as I've only used it on these 15 so far, but if it breaks now I'd still say it was worth the money!
