Armeg EBS Tri-Cut Circular Cutter is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Armeg Tri-Cutter This thing eats bricks! Drill a 6mm pilot plus the length of the guide peg and unleash! Buy a full face mask to go with it and seal off the room because this thing will spew dust into places you didn't know existed. I bought the kit in bits and wish I'd got it all together because in the end you do need all of it. Good for back boxes to recessed shower fittings. It is helpful to have a depth guide on your sds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for sinking into brick After attempting to sink a few back boxes into brick with an SDS drill and making holes far messier and bigger than needed I thought there had to be a better way. I came across this tool and thought I'd give it a go. Some recommendations, for brick walls I'd just getting this and a 6mm masonry drill for the pilot hole. I haven't heard anyone having much luck with the box cutters on brick and I didn't end up using the SDS chisel. I picked up a manual scutch chisel (not sold by Screwfix) which makes squaring the corners of the round hole very easy. The tool leaves a very nice flat bottomed hole which is difficult to achieve using other methods. The only time it struggled was when I hit an engineering brick (bad luck), It may have gone through eventually but I didn't want to wreck the tool, it was easier to move the hole over slightly. I'd recommend an angle grinder and diamond cutting disc (sold by Screwfix) to cut the wire channels, this kicks up an immense amount of dust but makes the channels a 5 minute job if finished up with the manual scutch chisel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why do you not have one? If any one has had a whole house worth of sockets to knock out into brick you will know exactly where i'm coming from. Its slow and painful even with an array of other tools. This tri cutter is simply amazing, ok if it cut a square it would be better but it leaves you with a nice flat surface and 4 small corners to knock out which takes no time at all. I have so far used this on 7 sockets some of which were double and its still going strong. Not sure how many sockets I would like out of the price as it is a bit expensive. I have been using this product on 1900's brick walls some of which are covered in a high concrete based render. I was having trouble with the bricks breaking and shattering using a hammer and bolster or scutch chisel. Buy one you will not regret it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Having used this for a number of years they make my job so much easier. Just bought a new one as previous broke on me, it was quite a few years old. Having the new one has reminded me just how good these really are. I use it almost 5 days a week. A very valuable part of my tool kit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is awesome We bought this, together with its brother (you need both) because we were adding electrical sockets to a very hard brick wall. The wall had beaten the cold chisel and hammer drill. This thing ate the job. We were able to make the recess for an electrical box in about 5 minutes and it was very neat. It works in the same way as an oil drill and so shears the brick rather than hitting it very hard which is what the hammer drill does. Much less damage and far quicker. For us it saved the day. The only draw back is that it requires a pilot hole. When trying to make an existing hole neater it was ineffective
