Towel Radiator Element 250W is rated 2.1 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy Bought the first one and stupidly did not test it, plumber fitted it and later the electrician wired it and it did not work. Took it back and got it replaced, had to pay plumber again to refit. Turned it on this summer and it had failed again. The one year guarantee had just run out. Bearing in mind I only use this in summer i have had 2 months use out if it as it was fitted early last year. Will have to pay again for it to be replaced but will buy from elsewhere. I also have 400W one and I am also waiting for that to fail. I buy loads of stuff from Screwfix and most of the time there stuff is first class, this product is absolutely rubbish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed after 7 months use As others have said, this is poor quality. Mine failed after 7 months of very occassional use. The element has gone open circuit. Unfortunately I bought it a while before fitting it so it is out of warranty. I will be looking elsewhere for a replacement. Junk - dont buy it. Real shame because I have bought tons of stuff from screwfix and it has all been excellent, apart from this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Element Just wanted a low wattage heater element for our small towel rail radiator for use in the summer. This unit looks well made and fitted with ease. Warms the towel rail nicely. Just what the missus wanted and at a good price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed After a Few Days After using this heater for a few days, it started to trip out the RCD. I have had to replace it with another heating element from another company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute rubbish. Generally pleased with Screwfix products but this is rubbish. Fitted into towel rail and after 2 hours could not tell if it was working or not. Purchased replacement and fitted that, same problem. Went to another supplier purchased and fitted their element and within 15 mins of turning on we had heat. I should have read the reviews first. Two elements will be going back tomorrow. Doesn't compensate me for time and travel though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I bought this element to go with an 1100 x 600 towel radiator. Out of the box the element shroud was discoloured with glue? When I went to fit the element I realised that it had no nut around the base so the only way to do it up would be by hand or with a set of grips which could cause damage. When I did the element up by hand the shroud came loose. When it was installed it did not warm up quick enough and seemed to be to low powered for this size of radiator, I have given it a low rating because the faults with the shroud coming loose and the fact that the shroud came away.
