Roughneck 1lb Micro Cutter & Mattock 15" is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A really useful tool I had to remove a tree stump from my garden. This was the ideal tool for moleing under large roots to allow cutting with an electric saw and chopping fibrous rootlets. Not too heavy and well balanced with long lasting cutting edges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tool Box Must Have. Why haven't I included one of these in my tool kit before now. Bought it after seeing a friend using one. So glad I did. Doing a job within 24 hours of purchase and needed a tool suitable to complete. After a few minutes of rummaging thought of this....(still sitting unused in my vehicle!). Spot on...job done in minutes! A toolkit must have!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect As other reviews have said, this is perfect for when there is barely enough space to work, let alone swing 'normal' size tools around. 2 minor quibbles. On my tool, one of the edges was very unevenly finished (going from sharp to a 5mm flat), though 2 minutes on the grinder sorted it out. Also, I would have preferred a little more heft, but that is a personal preference I guess

Rated 4 out of 5 by from REMINDED ME OF A TOMAHAWK With a wingspan of eight and three quarters, a handle, total length 15 inches, weighing in at one pound and well balanced, where when you wield it all the energy is transmitted to the blade, this tool/weapon is something any backwoodsman would delight in seeing hanging from his belt. I impulse bought it, because I wanted to throw it at a tree. Not true, I felt I needed something to cultivate between my rows of leeks. The width of the blades are one inch and a half wide, each with two 30 degree bevels (cutter), the mattock relies on one bevel. I was a bit disappointed by the length of the blade's cutting edge and would have preferred two and a half inches. However, this is a multi purpose tool. The leeks will laugh at it, but the bottom of my hawthorn hedge, with its tough weeds and brambles won't dare. The blade is forged steel. Don't know what the handle is but I wouldn't like to try and break it. The blade can't fly off due to the taper on the handle, which feels quite reassuring when held. Well made and designed, four stars. All this and I haven't even used it yet, but I have used enough hand tools to know that this little hard case will not disappoint.
