Layflat Hose Yellow 10m x 1" (25mm) is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time!!! I bought a Titan Dirty water pump which is great and read a lot of reviews in regards to performance of pump(s) and the hoses available. There are a lot of reviews from very poor to great on these hoses. I ended up buying both sizes of lay flat hoses as there were differing reviews on which one you needed for the pump i bought. e.g. the instructions on the pump differed from what you could actually attach to it. After setting up the pump and hose, it turned out to be useless for what i was doing. I needed to pump water from the bottom of trenches that were between 1m - 1.25m deep. This was near impossible and took two people to get the hose in the correct position, every time it was needed. The problem being unless you are pumping in a straight line then don't buy this. I ended up buying both the solid suction/delivery hoses on Screwfix as well and I'm now happily using these. They allow for any angle of the hose and let the pump do what it is made for. I know this is a bad rap but i was very disappointed with this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won't Go Round Corners Hose is a little bigger than 1" so goes on easy but needs a jubilee clip or similar. It works fine in a straight line and rolls up small. If you need to have any bends in it at all then it just kinks up and restricts the flow badly so not really suitable for general use. I bought it to pump out a garden pond as the reinforced hose was next day but it wasn't very good and I ended up ordering the reinforced anyway.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't cope with bends well.. Provided you have an absolutely straight run, the hose works very well. As soon as there's the slightest bend it creates a kink point and the flow is significantly reduced. Wish I'd spent a little more on a rigid hose instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from lay flat hose it did its job eventually but the original one was split along its length and it leaked everywhere but this was easily replaced and the new hose worked well

Rated 3 out of 5 by from no good no good for draining a pond as the pump was pushing the water up the pipe but as it was flat and water would not come though u have to squeeze the pipe to get the water to flow

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pump hose review I bought the hose to attach to my pump so I could drain foundation trenches that had filled with rain water. Although slightly difficult to get going (due to its flat nature) once pumping it was a good soloution to my problem. recommended...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs a powerful pump This hose does not work unless you have a fire engine pump on the end of it! The 500w Titan pump I have does not have enough force to push water down it

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad Good for shifting water from shallow areas but not so good with deeper foundations as it keeps kinking. If you need to empty excavations go with a rigid hose.
