Rated 5 out of 5 by from Workshop vice Getting used in a farm workshop so it's getting lots of abuse. No signs of weakness yet. I thought the swivel feature would be a bit dodgy but its getting used regularly and holds well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value product I bought this to replace a cheap vice that had been sat in my garage for years which broke under a not huge load. Used for pushing out motorcycle bearings on a trials bike. Heavy and works well , great value

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bit of a beast Bit of a beast, certainly looks impressive. Too early to tell its longevity yet but it did its first couple of jobs OK. You can just about mount it with the jaws overhanging the bench which is useful for holding things vertically but the base is pretty near the edge so you will need a sturdy bench material. Only criticism is that the mounting holes are very large even for a beast like this, you need to dig out some very big bolts to mount it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Heavy vice, but no precision at all. Not very well engineered resulting in a pretty clunky vice where the components have a lot of play between them, so not great for precision work, and not great for heavy work either. The swivel mechanism is under engineered and broke pretty quickly under heavy use. Returned to Screwfix who refunded me straight away (great - as always!) and I replaced it with "Irwin Record Mechanics Vice with Swivel Base 6" (77139)". Frankly a much better product and worth the extra ££ to buy..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great vice grear price Very strong and good screw operation, swivel base is a bonus and feels secure. For the money would defiantly recommend. Has tube clamp in the jaws as well so a bit of a bonus there

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong Vice Very sturdy. If anything, bigger that I expected, but does a great job. Bought to replace an old one that broke under stress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from strong and secure Great bit of kit so far with the useful swivel feature. Good smooth action and good grip strength. Not had it long so time will tell how well it lasts.
