Very light and easily controllable. Trigger very sensitive so easy to slow start. The markings on the base plate make it easy to line up. Already used on fencing job to cut posts to correct height and to construct filler panel. Also used on another job where I needed to cut sheet material. So, so useful. Think this will become one of my 'go to' tools. Marked reliability down one but I'm sure this won't be an issue being a DeWalt product

Worked perfectly for cross cuts, but will overheat your batteries if you're doing a long rip cut. The saw itself is more than capable but puts an incredible strain on your batteries (had to swap out a 4Ah half way through a 3.6m cut as it was too hot). Slices through sheet material like OSB easily. Being able to carry it around without worrying about a cord is definitely handy if you're working in a confined space.

This is a very good circular saw I've been using it over a year now and it's been taking alot of abuse I've dropped it of scaffolding twice and still works like it's brand new. The on thing I can fault on this is the guide it's to big it they sorted that out it would make it even better. I will always use Dewalt very good brand and very reliable!
